Our baby girl was born 11/11/11 weighing 8 lbs. 8 oz. and 21.5 inches long.
She’s now 10 days old and between the two kids, we’re pretty busy around here.
I’m not comfortable sharing the actual birth story on a public blog. But I was able to have a completely natural childbirth experience and do many things I had always wanted to. I was lovingly cared for during my pregnancy and birth by midwives. I labored in warm water, and gave birth in a full squat. It was an amazing experience and I’m proud of the way my daughter came into the world.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Congratulations! Welcome, Baby Girl!
Wooo hoooo!!
She looks perfect.
Huge congratulations. Sounds like an amazing experience.
Awww…
I just love her! And your other little one. And the rest of you!
Janelle!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! Funny thing, I just sent her gift out today! And I was thinking, gee, I wish Janelle had her already so I could put her name on the package. What’s her name?! And oh my goodness, a completely natural birth! Amazing! Please share your story somewhere where I can read it. That is something you can be so proud of! I am so so happy for your sweet family. I’m sure Dylan and the pugs are loving a sweet baby around. She is beautiful. Congratulations, and I hope you like your gift.
Congratulations, Janelle! She is beautiful and her upside down daisy hat looks adorable on her. Hope all are well!

Aww I never commented on this post. What a beautiful baby girl! I was just thinking about you. Hope you are doing well and enjoying that cute family of yours!
Congratulations, although a little late. I’ve just found your blog, and I’m loving your comments re knitting, baby wearing, modern cloth nappies (as we call them in Australia!) … all things I have practiced and which are close to my heart. But mostly I love your daughters birth date, I am also 11/11 (although a few more years ago)
